California Outdoor Hospitality Association has strength in numbers. The connection between a legislator and the district they represent is incredibly powerful. With members in virtually every legislative district in California, CalOHA has the ability to engage with many legislators in a more meaningful way through you.

We encourage our members to begin building these relationships early, not just when activated by CalOHA. By using the tool linked below, you can identify who represents you and your business in the State Assembly and State Senate. Attending community events hosted by the legislator is a great opportunity to introduce yourself and build rapport. You could also invite a legislator and/or their district staff to tour your park. Either way, the goal is to help give the people who represent you more familiarity with your business and your industry.

While grassroots advocacy takes time, it is an important investment for a business owner. Legislators make many decisions that will impact your business every year.
